You might have noticed we did not publish a July edition of News from the Forum. We are undertaking a review of the newsletter and holding focus group meetings to gather opinions from residents, community groups and businesses. We would welcome feedback at any time during July and August, just contact us by email or phone or come and see us at Rose Cottage on Lenton Boulevard. We would like to know your views on the content and the design of the current newsletter and hear any suggestions for new features or articles.
We hope to be able to publish the next newsletter at the end of 2009. Look out for more information about contributing articles or booking advertising space.

New home for breakfast club
Wednesday, 01 October 2008
The breakfast club has now moved permanently to Thomas Helwys Baptist Church, right next to the Lenton flats. No change to day or time - the club meets each Thursday morning, 10am until midday.
The club was set up by the Forum for the residents of the Lenton flats. It has proved popular and now many regulars drop in each week for a chat or to seek advice or information about local services. Fruit, toast, beans, cereal, tea & coffee on offer FREE OF CHARGE every week.
If you have ideas about what sort of services we could offer, please come along to the club or contact Fiona at the Forum office on 0115 9419525 or by email at .
In 2008 we received donations from Churches Together in Lenton and Tesco Express (Sherwin Road) to help fund the breakfast club in the coming months. This funding is much appreciated by the Forum and all who use the club.

Local blog
Wednesday, 01 October 2008
Check out this fantastic website and blog produced by local resident Robert Howard. The website is full of interesting historical facts about the area, news items and useful links. Robert's blog offers a very topical and often humorous view of local (and not so local) events.
