Free* Diploma in Social and Community Research Methods
Would you like to carry out your own research into the rapidly changing social issues facing the community in the twenty first century?

Would you like to pursue a career in a research related occupation? Maybe you already work for a voluntary organisation, charity or community group that would like to carry out some research but is unable to find the funds?

Completing this course will provide you and your organisation with all the necessary skills to do the research yourself. The course runs one day each week for 26 weeks.

The course includes:

  • Survey design
  • Interviewing skills
  • Data analysis and presentation
  • Focus groups
  • Writing up research findings
  • Relevant IT packages

*This course is part-funded by the European Social Fund and is free to students meeting current criteria. The Diploma in Social and Community Research Methods is run by Trent Surveys at the Nottingham Trent University and leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
