Community Facilities

Dunkirk and Lenton has two community centres which host a wide range of activities. A city council survey indicates that 20% of local people (40% of permanent residents) use these centres. Local churches also provide community activities.

Lenton Leisure Centre was identified by a city council survey as the most environmentally friendly leisure facility in Nottingham, with over 90% of users arriving on foot or bicycle. It scored the highest user satisfaction rating and is an excellent example of how local facilities matter.
