| The Executive Committee |
|
A total of 12 trustees can be elected to the Executive Committee. The aim is to elect representatives from all sections of the community who support the aims and objectives of the Forum. These people are expected to attend monthly Committee meetings to plan the direction of the Forum, lead projects and manage resources, premises and staff. The Committee is responsible for overseeing the overall work of the Forum. At present the Forum is an unincorporated charity but it is working towards becoming a company limited by guarantee with charitable status. All trustees appointed prior to this changeover will transfer to become company directors at that point.
Roles of Executive Committee trustees Secretary: responsible for dealing with administration in relation to Trustees, with support from the Forum Administrative Officer. The post of Secretary is vacant at present.
Treasurer: responsible for the financial resources of the organisation and ensuring that correct procedures and policies are adhered to, with support from the Forum Manager and the Finances sub group. The current Treasurer is Corinne Ward.
